Desert Falcons Water Training – 17th September (Evening)

Another awesome training session took place on Tuesday evening, September 17th, at Deira Creek. The Desert Falcons gathered for some solid evening paddling, and the energy was high as usual!

Call Time: 7:00 PM
Everyone arrived on time, ready to give their best. We started warming up at 7:15 PM, stretching our muscles and shaking off the day’s fatigue. By 7:25 PM, we were all loaded into our boats, and by 7:30 PM, it was time to hit the water!

Boat 1:

Steerer: Intan

  • Pacers: Tonette (Left) and Ruby (Right)
  • Left: Phelan, Jacob, Dennis, Mary Ann
  • Right: Jobai, Ging, Jan, Ahmed

This team paddled hard, covering 3,700 meters in 41 minutes and 13 seconds. Intan kept everyone in sync, guiding the boat smoothly through the water. The Pacers, Tonette and Ruby, set a steady rhythm, helping the rest of the team stay in time. Everyone put in maximum effort, especially Mary Ann and Ahmed, who were giving it their all!

Boat 2:

Coach/Steerer: Alain

  • Pacers: Ferdz (Left) and Richard (Right)
  • Left: Radhi, Khaled, Neil, Steve, Jebi (NB), Mikko
  • Right: Alnita, Mahmoud, Nafih, Amjad, Lambert, Abu Khater

This boat covered a bit more distance, paddling 4,097 meters in 52 minutes and 46 seconds. Alain, as always, kept the boat on course, making sure everyone paddled in sync. The Pacers, Ferdz and Richard, did a great job keeping the team in rhythm. Newbie Jebi had an impressive outing, and the whole boat worked well together.

What Made This Session Special?

This session was all about teamwork. With two boats in action, everyone had to stay focused and in sync. Whether it was the experienced paddlers or the newbies, each person played a role in pushing the team forward. The warm evening and calm waters made it perfect for training, and both boats gave it their best shot.

Wrapping Up:

By the end of the session, both boats docked back at the shore, tired but feeling accomplished. High-fives were shared all around, and everyone left with smiles on their faces. It’s always amazing to see how much we grow together as a team.

Great job, Falcons! Let’s keep this energy going for the next training session. See you all on the water! 🚣‍♂️🦅
