It’s the start of a brand new season — and what better way to kick it off than with a strong splash at Deira Creek? The Desert Falcons flew back to the water on Sunday, August 3, 2025, ready for action, teamwork, and green jersey energy!
🚣♀️ Evening Training, Falcon Style
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the team gathered at QD’s, Deira Creek. The call time was 7:00 PM sharp. Everyone was early, excited, and ready to load the boat by 7:25 PM. Green jerseys on. Spirits high. Muscles warmed up.
By 7:30 PM, the boat was gliding on the water. The evening breeze, the calm creek, and the splash of paddles—it was the perfect scene for our first weekend training of the new season.
⭐ With Coach Alain at the Helm
Coach Alain was back in full action as our coach and steerer for the night. With his clear calls and smooth steering, the Falcons paddled hard and steady for 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 59 seconds. That’s over 4.6 kilometers of strong strokes, team rhythm, and power bursts!
Every second on the boat mattered. From warm-up to sprint sets, the team pushed through like champs. No shortcuts. No slowing down. Just Falcons doing what they do best—giving their all.
🦅 The Lineup
Here’s a quick peek at who was on the boat:
- Tonette, JJ, Reagan, IS, and Radhi held strong in key positions.
- Intan brought her energy, while Noura, a new face, joined as our latest newbie—and she did great!
- Coach Alain made sure everyone stayed in sync, keeping our boat steady and speed on point.
Some seats were open, but that didn’t stop the crew from making each stroke count. The team is growing, and there’s always room for more paddlers to join the fun.
💚 Back in Green
We rocked our Falcons Green jerseys for this session—because nothing says team spirit like matching shirts and smiling faces. We paddled hard, cheered louder, and finished stronger.
As always, the best part was seeing everyone support each other, both in and out of the boat. That’s what makes us Desert Falcons—not just the strokes, but the team we’ve built together.
