Desert Falcons Water Training – 12th October (Morning)

It was a beautiful, crisp Saturday morning as the Desert Falcons gathered for another intense water training session at QD’s – Deira Creek. The energy was high because this wasn’t just any training—it was preparation for next week’s big race in Abu Dhabi!

The Start

With the call time set for 5:20 AM, paddlers were bright-eyed and ready. By 5:30 AM, the boat was loaded, and everyone was in their places, preparing for a tough session. With Captain Intan steering, the team pushed off the dock right on time at 5:45 AM.

With 28 paddlers focus on the training, the energy was incredible! From experienced hands to newbies finding their rhythm, the team worked together to perfect every stroke.

Training Focus

Today’s training was all about getting race-ready for the upcoming Abu Dhabi race. The team practiced timing, synchronization, and power bursts—things that will be crucial when they face off against tough competition next week.

What We Did:

The main focus of today’s training was to build our endurance and perfect our synchronization. We paddled together, making sure each stroke matched perfectly with our teammates. This helps us move as one strong unit, which is so important for winning races!

Captain Intan gave us some great tips on how to keep our strokes steady and powerful. We practiced switching paddlers smoothly and keeping our boat balanced. It was tough, but everyone gave their best effort!
