Another great training session for the Desert Falcons! On Thursday, October 10th, the team gathered for an evening paddle at QD’s, Deira Creek. The call time was 7:00 PM, with everyone warming up by 7:15 PM and loading onto the boat by 7:25 PM. By 7:30 PM, we were out on the water, ready to push through another challenging session.
With Coach Alain at the helm, guiding us as our steerer, the team lined up with strong pairs of paddlers: Ferdz, Jerome, Neil , Richard, Intan , JJ, Ceasar , Chevy, Khaled , Mahmoud, Matt , IS, Steve, Lambert, Ging, Tonette, Cagara, Loren & Jobai.
The focus of the session was all about teamwork and power. As always, the pacer pairs were keeping everyone on rhythm, with strong strokes setting the pace for the entire crew.
The calm water at Deira Creek made for perfect conditions as we worked on improving our synchronization and technique. The effort put in by everyone was fantastic. Itโs all about building endurance, strength, and trust in one another, and this session was no different!
The evening ended with tired arms but happy hearts. The Desert Falcons continue to grow, learning more about our technique and teamwork every day. Here’s to more powerful strokes in the sessions ahead! ๐
