Desert Falcons Water Training: A Windy Evening with a Slice of Celebration

Thursday evening, November 28, was a memorable session for the Desert Falcons. The team arrived at QD’s – Deira Creek, sporting their striking blue jerseys, ready to paddle despite the windy conditions. With determination and teamwork in the air, the session turned into a perfect blend of hard work and celebration.

The team gathered promptly at 7:00 PM. After a warm-up session at 7:15 PM, everyone loaded into the boat by 7:25 PM. Under the guidance of Coach Intan, the paddlers pushed off at 7:45 PM, battling strong winds that made the water choppy.

Despite the challenging conditions, the crew maintained focus. With a steady pace, the team covered 5,022 meters in 48 minutes and 31 seconds. Though they didnโ€™t venture far, every stroke was purposeful, building stamina and improving technique for the upcoming race.
