It was an early start for the Desert Falcons on Saturday, October 5th, but that didn’t stop the team from showing up with energy and excitement! With the cool morning air and the sun rising over QD’s – Deira Creek, the scene was set for another great water training session.
Call Time: 5:15 AM
As always, the team arrived on time, with big smiles and ready to work hard. By 5:25 AM, everyone was in their spots, the boat was loaded, and we were set to go.
Training Start: 5:30 AM
With Intan steering, the team pushed off and started paddling with focus and determination. Intan kept us steady throughout the session, helping the team stay synchronized and strong.
The Line-Up:
- Pacers: Ferdz (Left) and Richard (Right)
- Left: Tonette, Philip, Jacob, Dennis, Osman, Khaled, Aby
- Right: Nafih, Mahmoud, Alnita, Bolz, Ruby, Joven, Glenn, IS, JJ, Jobai, Lambert
With a full boat, the team was balanced and ready for a productive morning. The pacers, Ferdz and Richard, set a solid pace, making sure the rhythm was steady throughout the practice.
Distance Covered:
The team paddled with focus, covering an impressive distance. While the exact distance wasn’t recorded this time, the session was all about working on endurance and improving synchronization. The team’s hard work showed as the boat moved smoothly through the water.
What Made This Session Special?
The morning air, the peaceful waters, and the energy of the team made this session extra special. Everyone worked together, from experienced paddlers to newbies. It’s always inspiring to see how quickly new members like Osman and Joven are catching on and becoming part of the team. The support from more experienced paddlers like Tonette and JJ was crucial, as they helped guide the boat and keep everyone in sync.
Wrapping Up:
By 8:15 AM, the team finished the session, tired but proud. The morning was filled with strong teamwork, hard work, and lots of laughter. It’s these kinds of sessions that remind us why we love being part of the Desert Falcons.
Great job, Falcons! Let’s keep pushing ourselves and working together as we prepare for the next race. See you at the next training session! 🚣♂️🦅
