Desert Falcons Night Training: Blue Jerseys and Team Spirit Under the Stars!

Hey there! The Desert Falcons are back at it again, and this time, they’re lighting up the night with their blue jerseys and unstoppable energy. On Thursday, January 30th, the team gathered at QD’s – Deira Creek for an evening training session that was all about teamwork, endurance, and a whole lot of fun. Let’s dive into the details of this exciting session!

Kicking Off the Evening

The call time was 7:00 PM, and by 7:15 PM, the team was already warming up. By 7:25 PM, they were loading up, and by 7:30 PM, the training officially began. The venue? The iconic QD’s – Deira Creek, where the calm waters and evening breeze set the perfect scene for a great workout.

And let’s not forget the dress code—blue jerseys! Not only do they make the team look sharp, but they also add a pop of color to the night. Who says training can’t be stylish?

Meet the Team

The training was led by the amazing Coach Alain, who took on the dual role of coach and steerer for the evening. His job? To keep everyone in sync and make sure the boat glided smoothly through the water. And with a team like this, that’s no easy task!

Here’s how the team lined up:

  • Bow (Left): Mahmoud, Tonette, Steve, Reagan, Len, Dennis, Ferdz
  • Stroke (Right): JJ, Osman, Nafih, Jobai, Lambert

Each member brought their unique energy to the boat. Mahmoud and JJ kept the rhythm steady, while Tonette and Osman added their signature strength. Steve and Nafih were the powerhouse duo, and Reagan and Jobai brought their A-game. A special shoutout to Ferdz and Lambert, who always keep the team motivated and focused.

The Training Session

The Falcons covered an impressive distance of 4,813 meters—that’s like paddling from one end of a really long beach to the other! The moving time was 54 minutes and 13 seconds, which means they were paddling non-stop for almost an hour. But the entire Desert Falcons Night Training session lasted from 7:41 PM to 9:10 PM. That’s over an hour and a half of teamwork, determination, and maybe a few splashes here and there.

What makes this Desert Falcons Night Training so special? It’s not just about the distance or the time—it’s about the teamwork. Paddling in sync, listening to the coach, and pushing through the fatigue together is what builds a strong team. And let’s be honest, it’s also a lot of fun! There’s something magical about being out on the water under the evening sky, surrounded by teammates who are all working toward the same goal.

Why Night Training Matters

So, why is Desert Falcons Night Training such a big deal? It’s not just about getting stronger or faster—it’s about building trust, communication, and camaraderie. Every stroke of the paddle, every shout of encouragement, and every drop of sweat brings the team closer together.

If you missed their last evening session, you’ve got to check out their blue jersey training where they paddled under the stars and had a blast! You can read all about it here: Desert Falcons Evening Training: Blue Jerseys and Team Spirit Under the Stars.

For the newbies, this was a chance to learn the ropes (or should I say paddles?) from the more experienced members. And for the old paddlers, it was an opportunity to share their knowledge and keep the team spirit alive. Everyone had a role to play, and everyone contributed to the success of the session.
