On the evening of October 8th, the Desert Falcons gathered for another round of water training at QD’s – Deira Creek. The cool breeze of the evening was perfect for an intense yet fun session.
Call time was set at 7:00 PM, and by 7:15, everyone was warming up, preparing for what would be a solid evening workout. The team, guided by Coach Alain, was ready to load the boat by 7:25, and by 7:30, they were out on the water. The focus was on building stamina, coordination, and power with each stroke.
The boat was packed with energy, from Mikko and Ruby at the bow, to IS and Nafih, making the entire crew feel strong and united. We had a couple of newbies join us – Vishnu and Sridaar – who were eager to learn the ropes and get the hang of the rhythm. The team welcomed them with open arms, and they quickly found their place among the rest of the paddlers.
The strokes were sharp, the energy was high, and the distance covered was a testament to everyone’s hard work. The team kept moving until 9:05 PM, taking turns pushing harder with every paddle. It wasn’t just about the workout, though. It was about coming together, learning, and making progress as a unit.
As the session ended, the crew was tired but happy. The camaraderie that grew throughout the evening made the hard work worth it. Every training, every paddle, and every effort gets the Desert Falcons one step closer to being better, faster, and stronger.
Until the next session, Falcons! Keep paddling! 🌊
