Desert Falcons Water Training – 19th September (Evening)

On Thursday evening, September 19th, the Desert Falcons gathered at QD’s – Deira Creek for another solid training session. The cool evening air and calm waters set the perfect stage for a great practice.

Call Time: 7:00 PM
The team arrived ready to give it their all. By 7:15 PM, we were warming up, stretching our arms and legs, preparing for the paddling ahead. At 7:30 PM, we loaded up the boat, and by 7:40 PM, we were off and paddling!

The Line-Up:

  • Pacers: Tonette (Left) and JJ (Right)
  • Left: Philip, Khaled, Phelan, Mary Ann, Mahmoud
  • Right: Ferdinand, Lamberto, Nafih, Ruby, Alnita, Jobai

With Intan as our steerer, the boat moved smoothly through the water. Tonette and JJ, as pacers, kept the rhythm strong and steady, leading the team from the front. Everyone worked together, focusing on their strokes and timing.

Distance Covered:

We paddled a solid 4,535 meters over a moving time of 56 minutes and 58 seconds. The team did an amazing job staying in sync and keeping a consistent pace. The focus of the session was on endurance, and by the end, everyone felt a strong sense of accomplishment.

Team Spirit:

It was great to see how the team came together. Whether it was the seasoned paddlers or the newer members, everyone gave 100%. Special shout-out to Khaled and Lamberto for their power in the middle of the boat, and to Mary Ann and Ruby for keeping the energy high throughout the session!

Wrapping Up:

After an hour of paddling, we brought the boat back to jetty, tired but smiling. Every session brings us closer as a team and helps us improve for the races ahead.

Great job, Desert Falcons! Keep up the hard work, and see you all at the next session. Let’s keep paddling strong! 🚣‍♂️🦅
