The Desert Falcons were up bright and early for their Saturday morning water training session on September 28th. The sun hadn’t even risen, but the team was ready to hit the water and give their best effort at QD’s – Deira Creek.

Call Time: 5:15 AM
Despite the early hour, everyone showed up with energy and determination. By 5:25 AM, the team had loaded into the boat, and we were all set to start paddling at 5:30 AM.

Coach/Steerer: Coach Alain
With Coach Alain leading the session, we knew it was going to be a productive morning. His guidance kept the team focused and motivated throughout the practice.

The Line-Up:

  • Pacers: Intan (Left) and JJ (Right)
  • Left: Dennis, Neil, Alnita, Khaled, Jacob, Steve, Mahmoud, Ferdz
  • Right: Richard, Lambert, Len, Jobai, Chevy, Aby, Bolz, IS, Yti

The Pacers, Intan and JJ, set a strong pace from the front, helping the rest of the team stay synchronized. The boat was full, with a great mix of experienced paddlers and newer members working together.

Distance Covered:

We covered 5,934 meters during the session, with a moving time of 1 hour and 10 minutes. It was a tough but rewarding session, focused on building endurance and teamwork.

What Made This Session Special?

This session was all about pushing our limits. The distance covered showed just how much we’ve improved as a team. Even with newbies in the boat, everyone worked hard to stay in rhythm and maintain a steady pace. Special shout-out to the newbies who kept up with the pace and contributed to the team’s success.
